Here’s my quick-take [QT] on the following clip.
You can often tell when someone is using a topic to virtue signal to gain social status with their fans, peers or idols—their self-perceived in-group.
As humans, we’re naturally driven to gain social status via the limbic system, especially with the hands that feed us, be it emotionally, financially, or romantically. As children, these are our parents or siblings. As adults, these are our friends, romantic partners or, online, our idols and fans.
The brain’s primitive social psychology is the thing that drives someone to overreact for a bit of attention or praise—the same things toddlers do that nearly every parent on earth encounters at some point.
Colloquially, it’s called hamming it up. In developmental psychology, it’s called Negative Attention-Seeking.
Don’t get me wrong, in today’s hyper busy world, we’ve all felt a bit lacking in the attention we need. These behaviors have exploded in modern times due to the negative effects of globalist agendas that are intended to rob people of healthy social bonds so we’re driven to do things for their agenda.
Either way, it doesn’t look good.
Piers Morgan seems to see what’s going on with one of the commentators he’s talking to about the Trump trial. The gal who hams it up, Francesca Fiorentini, walks right into his trap.

Trump Hater Crumbles as Piers Morgan Asks One Simple Question
PIERS MORGAN: “Why is Bill Clinton able to have sex with an intern in the Oval Office when he’s President and lie to the American people about it on national television? And why is he able to pay off Paula Jones $850,000, four times as much, five times as much as the Trump payment to Stormy Daniels, to get rid of a sexual harassment claim, again, while he’s President, and he has no criminal court recourse for that? Why is that deemed to be better than what happened with Trump and Stormy?”
FRANCESCA FIORENTINI: “I don’t think anyone is making that case, Piers.”
PIERS MORGAN: “No, I’m asking you, what’s the difference? What’s the difference?”
FRANCESCA FIORENTINI: “The difference is that he didn’t cook the books financially using his own, like using back channels in order to pay.”
PIERS MORGAN: “So paying somebody off who says you sexually harassed her, paying her nearly a million dollars while you’re the President of the United States and then having sex with an intern in the Oval Office and lying about it, that’s fine because he’s a Democrat?”
FRANCESCA FIORENTINI: “Only the leftists in your mind are making that argument.”
PIERS MORGAN: “Sorry?”
Please tell me what you think or let me know if I got something wrong. I want to hear from you.
Much love,

logic. illogic. rational. irrational. truth. deception. self-deception. i suppose it does come down to choosing to know or choosing to admit rather than denying, deflecting, or excusing.
