As soon as you start speaking of being good, I thought of Colossians 3:23 ( Work as you are working for the Lord) There are times, I want to cut corners, and not do my best with work, if the Lord is watching, excellence is expected. Same with being good. Our sin nature is so powerful. I simply can’t imagine staying good, if I did not have someone to answer to. I answer to the Lord, and as a parent, I never want to be embarrassed in front of my children. My integrity means a lot. Today, integrity does not mean much, it’s our job to awaken integrity and goodness.
A good reminder. It’s so easy to let lack of care and the weariness of the battle drag us into mediocrity. It’s something I let happen and it always feels better and is better to strive for excellence knowing He is with us, always.
There are many phrases here that are worthy of isolating and repeating, but "goodness literacy" stands alone as an icon of your wordsmithery. This piece is a brilliant extraction of the elements that have been eliminated from our educations and elements that have been introduced and perpetuated that brought us to our now.

Beautifully written. Thank you. The high road is difficult. Our reward during the conflict is peace of mind and strength of conviction.
